How to Style a Spring-Themed Front Porch

Styling a spring-themed front porch is easy with just a few items – flowers, bunnies, purple violas, and old rain boots!

We’ve finally had some sunny days! This winter in our part of Virginia has been wet and gloomy with gray skies, so this past weekend’s sunny weather was so welcome. The bright sunshine with temperatures in the 70’s brought out my creative side! I shopped my walk-in attic and brought out a few fun spring-themed items to brighten up the front porch.

It’s easy to style a spring porch with just a few items. I make a habit of shopping the after-holiday sales when seasonal items are marked way down to at least half-off, and I stick them in my walk-in attic to wait for the next year. This bunny was a Pier One find last year and I found his sweet little nest in Michael’s Arts and Crafts for a “song.” (see what I did there?)

I love to change out the wreath decor on my door with the season. The Daffodil Festival in our county will be held in just a few weeks, so I filled a container with silk daffodils and hung it on the front door with a large 3M hook. I got this container several years ago through Southern Living at Home and have used it so many times with lots of different floral and greenery stems.

And bunnies are a must for any spring-themed porch.

Spring officially arrives in a little over a week, and I’m ready for it! Hope you all have a fun time brightening up your front porch or entry way with a few spring-themed decorations and remember – shop those after-holiday sales this year so you’ll be ready next year!
